How does Flow9 pricing work?

There are two parts to it. Your plan covers the CRM and a set number of user seats — that is the monthly or annual price on the card. On top of that sits usage: voice, SMS, email and fax are charged per unit and drawn from your balance. Each plan includes a monthly balance grant ($10.00 on Basic, $20.00 on Pro), so a quiet month can cost you nothing beyond the plan price itself.

Which plan should I start on?

Basic suits teams of up to about six people; from seven, Pro is usually cheaper. The arithmetic: Basic is $35.00 with 3 seats included and extra users at $12.00 each, so six people come to $35.00 + $36.00 = $71.00 a month. A seventh person takes it to $83.00 — more than Pro's flat $80.00, which covers 10 seats. Pro also doubles the balance grant to $20.00 and adds priority support and a dedicated sales contact.

What happens when I add people to the team?

You add seats rather than switching plan. Basic includes 3 seats and charges $12.00 a month for each additional user; Pro includes 10 and charges $10.00. So a team of five on Basic is $35.00 + $24.00 = $59.00 a month.

What does the monthly balance grant actually cover?

It is credit against usage rather than a spending limit. Pro's $20.00 grant covers roughly 1,900 emails at $0.0104 each, or about 2,000 SMS at $0.0098241. Basic's $10.00 grant covers around half of that. Voice is $0.15 per unit and fax $0.013. Once the grant is used up, further usage is charged from your balance at those same rates.

Are inbound calls and messages charged too?

Yes, and at the same rate as outbound — the rates are shown as "out · in" precisely because both directions count. Voice is $0.15 either way, SMS $0.0098241, email $0.0104 and fax $0.013. Worth allowing for if most of your volume is customers contacting you rather than the other way round.

Do phone numbers cost extra?

Yes — $3.00 a month for each number on Basic and Pro, billed separately from the per-unit call and message rates. A team running one number for sales and another for support would add $6.00 a month.

Basic and Pro both include a 14-day free trial, so you can put real enquiries through the CRM with your own data before paying anything. Enterprise is quoted rather than self-serve, so that one starts with a conversation.

How much does annual billing actually save?

Accepted Answer

Close to two months. Paying monthly for a year comes to $420.00 on Basic and $960.00 on Pro, against annual prices of $354.00 and $796.00 — savings of $66.00 and $164.00, or roughly 16% and 17%. That works out at about $29.50 a month on Basic and $66.33 on Pro.

Can I switch plans later?

At any time, in either direction. Changes take effect at your next renewal rather than part-way through a cycle, so you keep what you are already paying for until the period ends. The same applies to upgrades and downgrades alike.
